Vintage Dresses Ideas with Zapaka

19 de agosto de 2019
In my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful times for fashion was the first decades of the twentieth century, models valued the shape of the female body, had volume, delicacy, showed virtually nothing, so it was very sexy and nothing vulgar and had a wealth of detail and workmanship so careful that the pieces ended up being practically unique, because at that time most dresses were custom made by specialized fashions.

And just as in life, fashion is created, everything changes, and to our delight Vintage / Retro has become a super current trend, and pieces of the time come back revisited (and updated today).

Retro, antique and vintage are expressions commonly used to designate styles or pieces used in decorating an environment. Vintage, in turn, concerns everything that is at least twenty, but less than 100. To be classified as such, the element must then be in that 80-year-old range. It is a lifestyle recovered from the 1920s to 1960s. Out of curiosity, in the eighteenth century, vintage came to mean "the year a wine was made." Both old and vintage involve original pieces.

And as I was not lucky for my grandmother and could not use an authentic copy in the 1950s (because my father was only born in the late 1950s, I then only in the late 1980s and look there) I sometimes fantasize how it would be going to my graduation (which is coming, thank goodness), or at a friend or family's wedding or engagement party with a decent 50's dress. Wow, that would be amazing!

As I said my Business graduation will be soon and contrary to what I did when I graduated in Biology I decided not to stop looking for my dress on the day, because in at least one of the solemnities I make a point of wearing a decent tube girls of the golden years, but I want to be able to bargain, and time is a very favorable element.

In the midst of this quest, I met a foreign store that currently manufactures models worthy of this era, Zapaka, and it follows virtually every criterion I mentioned above (impeccable workmanship, incredible trim and custom-made parts). Below are some of my favorite models in store, probably one of them will be with me on my graduation.

A classic little black dress with a twist of retro style is a fashionable choice to wear. The A-line dress has a modest neckline to emphasize the upper shape of the body with form fitting around the chest and waist. A flared-out skirt for a comfortable casual wear and an attachable bow made from satin to add an elegant and feminine touch to the overall design. (Click here to view this template on the site.)

Zapaka has a youtube channel where they post teaser videos from their collections and I was keen to bring one with vintage pieces for you to get an idea of how careful they are with each piece.

And of course I went there to move my chopsticks, because I'm one of those. And the store owners have given you a 10% off coupon because I want you to enjoy that feeling too.

Discount code: BLOG10 to 10% off entire order. One use per customer.

The perfect rock and roll vibe can be found in this amazing retro dress! You will love the halter neck and the black details from the bust area, as well as the back lace-ups. The midi length of the dress and the black cloth belt will make you look extremely feminine. You will love the open back and the skull print mixed with the leaves print that makes this dress so unique. Wheather you will wear it on a daily basis or at a cocktail party, you will feel amazing! A classic yellow swing dress with a twist of retro style is a fashionable choice to wear. The A-line dress has a V-neck neckline to emphasize the upper shape of the body with form fitting around the chest and waist. A flared-out skirt for a comfortable casual wear and an attachable bow made from satin to add an elegant and feminine touch to the overall design. You can choose this vintage yellow dress for your summer party. (Click here to view this template on the site.)

And as if all this were no longer reason enough for you to choose your dress in Zapaka they are shipped anywhere in the world and accept virtually all credit cards and Paypal (purchase safer than that, I doubt it).
